Peer Gynt is a traditional Norwegian wool yarn, made since 1939. It is 100% Norwegian wool that is not superwash-treated. This yarn is suitable for knitting durable and long-lasting sweaters that are almost non-felting and instead, soften with each wear.
Wooly knitwear freshens up when aired out. However, if necessary, the sweater can also be machine washed in a gentle wool program. Avoid washing other hand-knitten garnments at the same time. Do not use a laundry bag while washing your knitwear. The friction created can make your knitted garnments prone to felting. After spinning carefully, flat dry to prevent stretching.
